Wolds

HMP Wolds opened in April 1992 as a remand prison and in 1993 was re-roled to a local category B prison holding sentenced prisoners.

Wolds Prison is now for Mid term Category C prisoners (including second stage lifers).

Reception criteria: Category C adult males, generally medium to long term sentenced prisoners.

Accommodation: Six units of single and double cells (some single cells have been doubled up accommodate extra prisoners).
