Staff from across the National Offender Management Service (NOMS) have received awards in the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2009.

Nigel Hancock, Senior Manager A, Safer Custody Group, for services to safer custody.
Ian Turner, Lately Senior Prisons Advisor, British Embassy, Afghanistan.
MBEs have been awarded to:
Myrtle Augee, Senior Officer, HMP Pentonville, for services to HM Prison Service.
Mostapha Bouker, Deputy Race Equality Officer, HMP Belmarsh, for services to race equality at HMP Belmarsh.
Dawn Brooks, Treatment Manager, Hertfordshire Probation Area, for services to the Probation Service.
Stephen Brown, Senior Officer, HMP & YOI Brinsford, for services to HM Prison Service and to the community.
Alberto Crisci, Catering Services Manager, HMP High Down for services to the catering industry.
Anthony Fox, Senior Officer, HMP/YOI New Hall, for services to HM Prison Service.
John Hodgson, Probation Officer, Cumbria Probation Area, for services to the Probation Service in Cumbria.
Stewart Leach, Principal Officer, lately Belmarsh East Project, for services to HM Prison Service.
Martin Mayers, Probation Officer, Greater Manchester Probation Area, for services to the Probation Service in Greater Manchester.
Neil McNally, Instructional Officer, HMP Frankland, for services to HM Prison Service.
Graham Pennington, Principal Officer, HMP Manchester, for services to HM Prison Service.
Bernard Unsworth, Independent Monitoring Board, HMP Kirkham, for continued commitment to staff and prisoners.
