Age Concern - The 'Locked Out' Project
Age Concern Hull currently facilitate a social group for prisoners aged 50 . The aim of the group is to promote mental and physical well being. The group is supported by Social Workers in training and gives them experience and knowledge of issues faced by older prisoners.

Home-Start
Home-Start offers free support, friendship and practical help to families with a least one child under five. Families are regularly visited in their own homes by volunteers who have all had experience of parenting, and know how hard it can sometimes be.

Community Wardens
Community Wardens operate from 14 one-stop-shops on main shopping parades providing face-to-face contact with members of the public. The aim is to promote community safety issues, form filling services, distribution of community safety products, relevant projects, signposting, low level counselling, general advice and a focal point for community issues.

Dads Against Drugs (DADS)
The Dads Against Drugs football initiative was launched in June 2001 to tackle the issues of drugs within local communities. The programme has expanded throughout the City of Hull in a variety of community settings and local Prisons. Football, rugby and other sports, skills for life programmes and drug awarness campaigns including DADs comics and Football Musical Theatre has spread the message about the dangers of drugs.

Survivors
Survivors (Hull & East Riding) provides counselling, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, life-coaching and support for male victims of childhood sexual abuse and sexual assault. A rape crisis service is also available for male survivors of sexual trauma. Although our services are primarily for heterosexual and gay men we also offer counselling, support, information and practical advice to partners and other adult family members.
