HMP Hull is a Local Prison holding remand, sentenced and convicted adult males (except Cat A) and young offenders. Some prisoners are undertaking specialist programmes.
Prisoners within HMP Hull are employed in the workshops kitchens, gardens and works departments. Education classes are available, including a parenting course and there is a range of offending behaviour groups, including anger management and drug and alcohol misuse.

Business and voluntary sector organisations can provide flexible and innovative approaches that allow individuals the opportunity to change not only their own life, but that of their family.
Voluntary & Community Sector organisations already work with Hull Prison. They provide specialist services and skills to assist prisoners with advice, guidance and support to help them address problems such as: accommodation, employment, health, finance, alcohol or drug dependency and specific behavioural issues.
