Procurement Group is charged with ensuring that the Prison Service's commercial and procurement activities are conducted professionally and ethically and meet the Government's obligations to UK and EC legislation.
In addition, Procurement Group works closely with the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) in developing procurement policy that meets Government initiatives while satisfying the requirements of our customers, suppliers and other Prison Service Directorates and works to manage our resources effectively in order to deliver best value for money.
